what ever this is

what ever this is

The year grows on me and January soon at an end reminds me that the new year is but a far gone memory. Nothing is ever new we just suffer temporary madness and delude ourselves that because the moon’s size changes and the earth while still rotating on its axis revolved around the sun things will be different. But the truth is they never are. The problems are still the same, your friends are still the same and your still single with variations of happiness and sadness (or loneliness) dependent on the day. Then it befalls us to remember that change whether illusion, imaginary or actual is inevitable and time is ever the constant maybe at times it is a catalyst. The catalyst part is the real boner because you see as so many before me have come to realize time is not the kindest of catalyst especially given certain social expectations.  The first change that one undergoes psychological we all undergo it at first we call it growing up feeding into social expectation you should walk by this age, eat at this age, go to school, first girl friend (and somewhere in there sex was thrown in), work, marry, bare children and the likes. For some it is natural as nature combines perfectly with nurture to bring forth the ultimate socialite, fitting into their role with such ease. Yet for others it is a struggle, some learn too early, others too late and then it is up to time to intervene which it does with the most cruel of hands. We become too old for some things yet remain too young for others. We are all subject to forces beyond our understanding, experiences we go through to be who we are where we are and what we are. They say time heals all wounds but in the end its more of man’s forgetful nature and his susceptibility to predicaments and circumstance beyond his control that conspire to distract us from yesterdays problems. We are confronted with today’s experiences be they excitement, joy, sorrow all overshadow our most bitter memories.Yesterday's problems always seem to be dwarfed in light of today's hardships. We are constantly in need of temporary madness and unexplainable joy. So maybe celebration of all kinds is justifiable, birthdays, weddings, holidays (yes even when its over some guy whose father immigrated to another country and now he’s president) or even if its because the Earth went round the sun and the cast a shadow on the moon we have to forget and celebrate the very moment. We have enough cause to show sorrow and be bitter so we should take any excuse to dance, drink, eat and make merry. So go ahead take off your shoes, over sleep and be merry I assure you your problems will still be there tomorrow drink be merry who knows what tomorrow holds.
